Tai Chi

Tai Chi is practiced worldwide as an effective exercise for health.  Tai Chi Easy consists of nine movements that can be learned in a short amount of time.  It uses gentle, circular movements done in a relaxed, slow way.  This practice has been shown to have extensive health benefits for the body and the brain.  Because Tai Chi Easy can be done sitting, standing or walking, it is available to anyone, regardless of age or health.  Come and learn a fun practice that can be done anywhere, since no equipment is needed.  No previous experience is required.

Instructor for Classes: Kathy Brubaker 

Kathy began learning Qigong and Tai chi in 2010.  Her desire to bring these practices to the local community led her to study at the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi where she earned her certification to teach Integral Qigong and Tai Chi and Tai Chi Easy in November 2012. She also earned her certificate to teach Therapeutic Qigong from the New England School of Tai Chi in Massachusetts in 2013.  And she is certified to teach yoga by the Yoga Life Institute. Kathy’s passion is her desire to help people learn about and experience the healing powers of the body, physically, mentally and emotionally, through the practices of Qigong and Tai Chi.
