About The Yoga Place

“Tension is who you think you should be, relaxation is who you are.”
~Chinese Proverb

Our lives have become fast paced and full of distractions. We seem to be caught up in a world of doing more and more as we move further and further away from peace and quiet. The price is high. We are stressed, tired and even in pain. Yoga is an opportunity to bring some peace, quiet and relaxation into our lives. In addition to the physical benefits of strength and flexibility, yoga can be healing and rejuvenating. Visit us at The Yoga Place and discover who you were meant to be. We have a variety of classes available to meet your specific needs. If you live in the area, your first class is free. Just call ahead so we can be prepared for your visit.

She is married and lives in Ephrata with her husband and two children.

“Yoga has been life changing for me.  It is a joy and a gift to be able to share the physical, emotional and spiritual healing benefits of yoga with others.”

Sandy Reber
Sandy began taking yoga classes in 1999. She is trained and certified to teach Hatha yoga from AAAI since 2005. She also holds a group fitness certification from NETA and is experienced in teaching a wide variety of fitness classes. After a personal struggle with knee and back pain related to arthritis, Sandy discovered the healing and pain relieving benefits of Svaroopa Yoga. She is now working on becoming certified in Svaroopa and is excited to share with others the restorative nature of this yoga. She lives in Denver with her husband Tom and works full-time as a Creative Services Supervisor in Reading, Pa.

“I like the way I feel after practicing yoga; empowered, strong and most importantly calm and relaxed. Yoga is the perfect compliment to the rest of your life.”
